Privacy Policy for Cubix: Block Master
Last updated: September 13, 2026
Summary
- Cubix does not ask for an account, a name, an email address, or any other personal detail.
- The game itself runs entirely offline on your device. Your scores, settings and items never leave your device.
- The only data that leaves the device is what the advertising provider needs in order to deliver an advertisement.
- The advertising provider derives an approximate location (your country, and potentially your city or region) from your IP address, in order to show advertisements appropriate for where you are and to prevent fraud. No precise location is ever collected — Cubix requests no location permission and uses no device location service.
- Cubix does not collect or transmit the Android Advertising ID. The permission that would allow it has been removed from the app.
- Every user is treated as a child. Personalized and interest-based advertising is disabled for everyone, without exception.
- Cubix does not sell personal information.
1. Introduction
Cubix: Block Master ("Cubix", "the Game") is developed and published by AeroShift Games ("we", "us").
This Privacy Policy explains what information is and is not processed when you play Cubix, including information processed by the advertising provider and by Google Play. It applies to the Cubix application distributed through Google Play.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
Cubix has no user accounts and no sign-in of any kind. We do not ask for, and the Game has no ability to obtain:
- Your name, email address, postal address or phone number
- Your date of birth or age — the Game contains no age question at all
- Your contacts, calendar, photos, videos, audio files or documents
- Your precise location. Cubix requests no location permission and uses no device location service such as GPS, Wi-Fi scanning or cell tower lookup. An approximate, region-level location is inferred by the advertising provider from your IP address; this is described in section 3.
- Microphone or camera access
- The Android Advertising ID (see section 5)
The Game requests only a single Android permission, INTERNET,
which is used solely to load advertisements and to communicate with Google
Play Billing. No permission dialog is ever shown to you, because Cubix
requests no permission that requires your approval.
3. Information Processed Automatically
When an advertisement is requested, the advertising provider (see section 10) processes a limited set of technical information in order to select, deliver and measure that advertisement and to detect fraudulent or invalid traffic. This may include:
| Information | Why |
|---|---|
| Device model, manufacturer, screen size, operating system version | To render the advertisement correctly on your device |
| App version, advertising SDK version, network connection type | Technical compatibility and reliability |
| IP address | Required in order to deliver any internet request at all, and used to detect fraudulent or invalid advertising traffic |
| Approximate location — your country, and potentially your city or wider region, inferred by the advertising provider from your IP address | To deliver advertisements that are appropriate for your country and legally permitted there, to show them in a suitable language, and to prevent fraud. This is derived from the IP address only. Cubix does not use GPS, Wi-Fi scanning, cell tower lookup or any other device location service, requests no location permission, and never receives or stores a precise location. |
| Advertisement events (that an advertisement was requested, shown, closed, or that a rewarded advertisement was completed) | To deliver the reward you chose to watch an advertisement for, to report advertising performance, and to prevent fraud |
| Purchase and transaction status | Provided to the Game by Google Play so that a purchased item can be delivered. Handled by Google Play, not by us (see section 8) |
Consistent with this, the Google Play Data safety declaration for Cubix discloses approximate location, app interaction data and technical diagnostic data as collected and shared for advertising delivery, performance measurement and fraud prevention. None of it is used for personalized or interest-based advertising, and none of it is used to build a profile of you.
This information is processed by the advertising provider, not stored on our own servers. AeroShift Games operates no server and maintains no database of users; there is no back end to which Cubix sends anything.
4. Advertising
Cubix displays advertising through Unity LevelPlay, a mediation service operated by Unity Technologies. LevelPlay selects which advertising network fills a given advertisement slot. Currently the only network configured is Unity Ads, also operated by Unity Technologies.
The Game contains three advertisement formats:
- Banner advertisements — shown in a fixed area at the bottom of the screen during play.
- Interstitial advertisements — a full-screen advertisement that may appear after a game has ended, when you choose to play again.
- Rewarded advertisements — entirely optional. These are shown only when you deliberately choose to watch one, for example to continue playing when the board is full. Nothing is lost if you decline.
All advertising in Cubix is non-personalized. Before the advertising service is started, and before any advertising network is contacted, Cubix applies a single fixed privacy configuration to every user: the child-directed designation is enabled, the "do not sell my personal information" signal is enabled, consent for interest-based advertising is recorded as not given, and the device identifier opt-out is enabled. There is no setting, no region check, and no code path in Cubix that can produce a different advertising configuration for any user.
Advertisements are therefore contextual only. Where an approximate location is used, it is used solely to decide which advertisements may lawfully and sensibly be shown in your country — it is not used to profile you, not combined with an identifier, and not used to target you across other apps or websites.
5. Advertising ID
Cubix does not collect, use or transmit the Android Advertising ID (AAID), and cannot do so.
This is enforced in two independent ways:
-
The
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_IDpermission is explicitly removed from the app's manifest, so the published application does not hold that permission at all. - The advertising service is additionally instructed, at start-up, not to request or transmit any device advertising identifier.
This is a deliberate design decision made because Cubix treats every user as a child, and Google Play Families policy does not permit transmitting the Advertising ID from a child-directed app.
6. Children
Cubix is a simple block-puzzle game suitable for a general audience, including children.
Cubix treats every user as a child, without exception. The Game contains no age question, stores no age, and has no branch anywhere in its code that could apply a less protective configuration to anyone. This means that the protections described below apply to all users regardless of their actual age, and regardless of whether their age is known:
- No personalized or interest-based advertising is shown to anyone.
- No advertising identifier is collected or transmitted.
- No personal information is requested from the user at any point.
- No precise location is collected. The approximate location described in section 3 is region-level information inferred from an IP address, is not stored by us, and is not linked to any identifier or profile.
- The Game contains no chat, no messaging, no user profiles, no social features and no user-generated content.
- The Game contains no links out to social media, and no links to external websites other than this Privacy Policy itself, which can be opened from the Game's Settings screen and is displayed in the device's own browser.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). Because Cubix asks for no personal information from anybody, we do not believe such information can be collected through the Game.
7. Information for Parents
If you are a parent or guardian and you believe that a child has provided personal information through Cubix, or if you have any question about how Cubix handles children's data, please contact us at the address in section 17. We will respond and, where personal information has been collected, delete it.
All game data created by playing Cubix — scores, settings, themes and power-ups — is stored only on the device. A parent can remove all of it at any time without contacting us, by following the steps in section 13.
In-app purchases can be restricted or disabled on the device through the Google Play Store's parental controls and purchase authentication settings.
8. In-App Purchases
Cubix offers optional in-app purchases of consumable gameplay power-ups. Purchasing anything is never required in order to play.
All purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. Payment is handled entirely by Google. AeroShift Games never receives, sees or stores your payment card details, your billing address, or your Google account information.
What Cubix receives from Google Play is a confirmation that a specific product was purchased, together with a purchase token. That token is stored only on your device, and only so that the same purchase cannot be granted to you twice and so that a purchase is not lost if the Game is closed before the item is delivered. It is never sent anywhere.
Google Play processes transaction information in accordance with Google's own privacy policy and payment terms.
9. Data Stored on Your Device
Cubix stores the following on your device only. None of it is transmitted to us or to anyone else:
- Music and sound effect settings
- Language preference (English or Turkish)
- Frame rate preference
- Your high score
- Which cosmetic board themes you have unlocked, and which one is selected
- How many gameplay power-ups you own
- Purchase tokens for purchases already delivered, as described in section 8
The game itself is a fully self-contained package. It loads no content from the internet, contains no web tracking, no cookies, no analytics service and no crash reporting service.
10. Third-Party Services
The following third-party services are integrated into Cubix. They act as independent controllers of the information they process and are governed by their own privacy policies:
| Service | Purpose | Privacy Policy |
|---|---|---|
| Unity LevelPlay (Unity Technologies) | Advertising mediation | unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy |
| Unity Ads (Unity Technologies) | Advertising delivery | unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy |
| Google Play Billing (Google LLC) | Processing in-app purchases | policies.google.com/privacy |
| Google Play Services (Google LLC) | App distribution and platform functionality | policies.google.com/privacy |
We do not integrate any analytics provider, any crash reporting provider, any social network SDK, or any attribution or tracking SDK.
11. How Information Is Used
Information described in section 3 is used only to:
- Select, deliver and display advertisements in a non-personalized way
- Show advertisements that are appropriate and lawful for your country or region, based on the approximate location described in section 3
- Deliver the in-game reward for a rewarded advertisement you chose to watch
- Measure advertising performance in aggregate
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse and invalid advertising traffic
- Deliver in-app purchases you have made
- Maintain the security, stability and compatibility of the Game
- Comply with legal obligations and platform requirements
It is not used to build an advertising profile of you, to target you across other apps or websites, or for any form of behavioural advertising.
12. Data Sharing and Sale
We do not sell personal information. Cubix transmits the "do not sell my personal information" signal to the advertising provider for every user, on every session.
We do not share information with anyone other than the service providers listed in section 10, and only to the extent necessary for those services to deliver advertisements, process purchases, and prevent fraud. We do not share information with data brokers.
Information may be disclosed if required by law, court order, or a valid request from a public authority.
13. Data Retention and Deletion
Data on your device. Everything listed in section 9 remains on your device until you remove it. You can delete all of it at any time, and no request to us is needed:
- Uninstall Cubix, or
- Open your device's Settings → Apps → Cubix → Storage and choose Clear data.
Either action permanently erases your scores, settings, themes and power-ups. Because none of it was ever copied off your device, nothing remains anywhere else.
Data held by service providers. Information processed by Unity or by Google is retained according to their own retention practices and legal obligations, as described in their privacy policies linked in section 10. Requests concerning that information can be made to them directly, or to us using the contact address in section 17 and we will assist.
Our own retention. AeroShift Games operates no server and keeps no user database, so we hold no personal information to retain or delete, other than the contents of any email you choose to send us.
14. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information. Cubix is built so that most of these rights are already satisfied by default: we hold no account, no profile and no identifier belonging to you.
European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland (GDPR / UK GDPR). You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Where advertising data is processed, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in funding and operating a free game, limited to contextual, non-personalized advertising; we do not rely on consent for interest-based advertising, because no interest-based advertising is shown.
California (CCPA / CPRA). You have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request its deletion or correction, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CPRA, and the opt-out signal is applied for every user automatically.
To exercise any right, contact us at the address in section 17. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
15. Security
All network communication made by the Game — advertising requests and Google Play Billing — uses encrypted HTTPS connections. Data stored on your device is held in the app's private storage area, which other applications cannot read.
We take reasonable measures to protect information and to reduce the risk of unauthorised access, misuse or loss. However, no internet-based service or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
16. International Transfers
The service providers listed in section 10 operate globally and may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Those transfers are governed by the safeguards described in each provider's privacy policy.
